Welcome to Columbia Cascade
Columbia Cascade is the USPSA section for the Oregon Willamette Valley and Central Oregon. We coordinate the annual Points Race — a season-long competition across our member clubs — and support shooters of all experience levels, from first-timers to Grand Masters.
Our 5 member clubs run monthly matches year-round across the region. Whether you're looking to compete, improve, or just give USPSA a try, there's a match near you.
What Is USPSA?
The United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) is one of the largest action shooting sports organizations in the world. Competitors run through multi-target stages that demand accuracy, speed, and strategy — all under the clock.
USPSA uses a national classification system that ranks every competitor so you're always measured against yourself as much as the field. Hit Factor scoring rewards the combination of accuracy and speed, and matches are structured so newcomers compete in the same environment as top-level competitors.
Skills you'll develop with USPSA:
- Drawing from a holster and engaging multiple targets
- Reloading on the move
- Shooting through, around, and over obstacles
- Stage planning and execution under a timer
Despite the fast pace, USPSA is known for rigorous safety standards. Certified Range Officers run every stage, and the community is welcoming to new shooters. Learn more at uspsa.org.
